AIM
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Programs (WASH) WIDO's Water, Sanitation and Hygiene program focuses on the promotion of tools and technologies that can lead to radical and sustainable improvements in water and sanitation in the rural communities. WIDO equally carries out education on clean water and hygiene practices that have spur significant change in its beneficiary communities. WIDO's strategy is to contribute to global demand for better sanitation and conduct education to reduce open defecation in rural areas and to implement improved measures for collecting waste and recovering valuable resources and energy.
